Tournament of Champions
The Tournament of Champions was a golf tournament played in the United States on the PGA Tour from 1953 to 2025. Held on the island of Maui in Hawaii, the competition served as the opening event of the tour season from 1986 through 2013 and from 2024 to 2025. The tournament field was restricted to golfers who won a tour event during the previous calendar year, alongside players who qualified for the preceding Tour Championship. Hideki Matsuyama won the final edition in 2025, shooting the lowest 72-hole to-par score in PGA Tour history.
