Be Kind Rewind
Be Kind Rewind is a 2008 buddy comedy film written and directed by Michel Gondry. The production stars Jack Black, Mos Def, Danny Glover, Mia Farrow, and Melonie Diaz. The story follows an employee at a VHS rental store and his conspiracy theorist friend who must recreate the store's film inventory after it is accidentally erased when the friend becomes magnetized. First screened at the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival, this production opened in North America and the United Kingdom in February 2008.
