Don Pasquale

Don Pasquale is a three-act opera buffa, or comic opera, composed by Gaetano Donizetti. This production features an Italian libretto completed largely by Giovanni Ruffini and the composer. The work was based on a libretto by Angelo Anelli, which was written for Stefano Pavesi's 1810 opera Ser Marcantonio. On the published libretto of Don Pasquale, the author appears as "M.A." Audiences attending this production will see a performance of this three-act Italian comic opera.
