The Marriage of Figaro

The Marriage of Figaro, also known as Le nozze di Figaro, is an Italian opera buffa and commedia per musica in four acts. This production features an Italian libretto based on the stage comedy La folle journée, ou le Mariage de Figaro, or The Mad Day, or The Marriage of Figaro. The plot follows two servants who attempt to get married. They must foil the efforts of their philandering employer, a count who is trying to seduce the bride-to-be, and teach him a lesson in fidelity.
