Bethany Bison
The Bethany Bison are the intercollegiate sports teams representing Bethany College, a private liberal arts college located in Bethany, West Virginia. Founded in 1840 by minister Alexander Campbell of the Restoration Movement, Bethany College was the first institution of higher education in what is now West Virginia. The college has an enrollment of approximately 620 students. Those attending a Bethany Bison event will see these collegiate athletic teams competing on behalf of the institution.
