Westend is an Austrian band that represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1983. The group performed the song "Hurricane," which was composed by Peter Vieweger, featuring lyrics by Heli Deinboek and Heinz Nessizius. The band was selected to represent the country by the Austrian participating broadcaster, Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF), which chose its entry through a national final.
