Chanticleer

Chanticleer is an American male classical vocal ensemble based in San Francisco, California. The group performs a wide-ranging repertoire that features interpretations of Renaissance music, which is a core part of their musical identity, alongside jazz, gospel, and contemporary classical music. The ensemble's name is derived from the "clear singing rooster" character in the literary work, The Canterbury Tales.
