Ibeyi

Ibeyi is a French musical duo of twin sisters with Cuban and Venezuelan heritage. Singing in English, French, Spanish, and Yoruba, the duo derives its name from the Yoruba word for twins. Their music incorporates Yoruba, French, and Afro-Cuban elements, fusing jazz with beats and combining samples with traditional instruments. One sister serves as the lead singer and plays the piano, while the other plays traditional Peruvian and Cuban percussion instruments, specifically the cajón and the Batá drum.
