Talking Heads
Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in New York City in 1975. The group consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist David Byrne, drummer Chris Frantz, bassist Tina Weymouth, and guitarist and keyboardist Jerry Harrison. Described as one of the most acclaimed groups of the 1970s and 1980s, the band helped pioneer new wave music. They achieved this by combining elements of punk, art rock, funk, and world music, presenting these musical styles with an anxious yet clean-cut image.
