The Dillinger Escape Plan

The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American metalcore band formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Originally founded by guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Adam Doll, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, and drummer Chris Pennie, the band became known for a sound characterized by dissonance, odd time signatures, polyrhythms, and unconventional drum patterns. While later releases incorporated more melody and diverse genre influences, their lineup underwent numerous changes. By the time the group dissolved, Weinman was the sole remaining founding member, performing alongside Liam Wilson, Greg Puciato, Billy Rymer, and Kevin Antreassian.
