Cyrano

Cyrano is an opera in four acts composed by Walter Damrosch, set to an English language libretto written by William James Henderson. The work is based on Edmond Rostand's 1897 play, Cyrano de Bergerac. The production premiered at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City on February 27, 1913. That premiere featured Pasquale Amato performing in the title role alongside Frances Alda as Roxane.
