Pericles

Pericles, Prince of Tyre is a Jacobean play written at least in part by William Shakespeare. While some argue Shakespeare was the sole author, modern editors generally agree he wrote about half the play, focusing on the story of Pericles and Marina. The first two acts, which detail the many voyages of Pericles, were likely written by a collaborator, possibly George Wilkins. The main inspiration for the play was Gower's Confessio Amantis.
