The Winter's Tale

The Winter's Tale is a theatrical production of the classic play. Originally grouped among comedies, many modern editors relabel the work as one of the late romances. It is also considered a problem play because the first three acts are filled with intense psychological drama, while the final two acts are comic and supply a happy ending. The play is often performed in its entirety, drawing largely from the original First Folio text.
